The case on the nationalization of PrivatBank will be examined by another court

In June, the Kiev Economic Court accepted PrivatBank’s request to close the nationalization process.

The Northern Commercial Court of Appeal reversed the Kiev Economic Court’s decision to suspend consideration of the claim of former PrivatBank owners Igor Kolomoisky and Triantal Investments to return their shares. This was reported by the press service of the financial institution on Thursday, December 10.

“The appeal instance, despite the violation of the terms to file an appeal by one of the defendants in the case and the action of the so-called” anti-Kolomoisky “law, in reality resumed the procedures to cancel the nationalization from PrivatBank, “the statement said.

Recall that in April 2019, the courts made three decisions on PrivatBank in favor of businessman Igor Kolomoisky. Including the illegality of the nationalization of this bank.

In June this year, the Kiev Economic Court granted PrivatBank’s request to shut down production on two claims by the bank’s former shareholders to invalidate the financial institution’s share purchase agreements.

And in October, former PrivatBank co-owner Gennady Bogolyubov filed new lawsuits in the nationalization case.
