Authoritative and knowledgeable journalist Max Weinbach has posted three short clips of official Samsung promotional material on the Android Police website showing the final design of the upcoming Galaxy S21 flagship smartphones, which will be unveiled next month. As expected, there will be three models: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
All in all, these videos confirm the design we saw a couple of months ago in OnLeaks renders (an inside source confirmed once again that it can be completely trusted). The new videos not only confirm the design as a whole, but also allow you to appreciate the details, in particular the new camera design: the “square circle” used in the latest Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series, is about to replace the decorative overlay in the upper left corner, “overlapping” side and top faces. It is clearly intended to hide the protruding camera modules, but in fact this decorative element does not completely solve the problem: the camera still does not fit into the slim body (instead of a bulge, it is now a kind of “bulge “). And here the conclusion suggests by itself that it is impossible to fit a 600-megapixel photographic matrix developed by Samsung engineers into a smartphone (except that Samsung is thinking of reviving the Galaxy S Zoom).

If you take a closer look, you will also notice that the S21 Ultra stands out for its curved screen against the background of the S21 and S21 Plus flat screens, and the prefix “5G”, which clearly indicates the support of the corresponding technology, is present on the names of all models. To restore other details about the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones, you should refer to the previous leaks that attribute them to screens with a diagonal of 6.2, 6.7 and 6.8 inches, respectively, support for 120 Hz, SoC Snapdragon 888 o Exynos 2100 depending on the region and 4000, 4800 and 5000 mAh batteries. The top-end Galaxy S21 Ultra is rumored to have the brightest display ever at 1600 nits, adaptive image sync technology with the ability to go down to 1Hz, and support for the S Pen stylus (but no separate slot). At the same time, the back of the S21 base will not be glass, but plastic.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra camera is supposed to be distinguished by an improved 108MP sensor and two telephoto lenses, with 3x and 10x optical zoom, respectively, and in both cases, arrays with larger pixels will be installed, which can capture more light. At the same time, the main camera and the ultra-wide camera will use the same 12 megapixel sensors across the line.
If the data from the British regulator Anatel is reliable (and there is no reason to doubt it), then the South Korean giant decided to follow Apple’s example and remove the charging adapter along with the headphones from the package of future Galaxy S21 smartphones.
