On the eve of Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said it is unlikely that a strict quarantine will be introduced in Ukraine from January 2. According to him, while working on the mechanism of new restrictions, which would be effective. The work is in its final stages.
According to him, the tightening of the quarantine is planned due to the peak incidence of influenza and SARS, which is expected in January-February.
The new restrictions will be tighter, but it will not be a complete lockdown, as it was in the spring. The government reported that it does not plan to stop transportation as part of the new adjustment.
In turn, the head of the Kiev State Consumer Service, Oleg Ruban, reported that in the case of the introduction of a strict quarantine in Ukraine, the work of fixed-route taxis will be mainly limited. Restrictions on subway work will be introduced last.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recommended that the government not introduce a blockade in December.
Let us remember that during the past day in Ukraine a little more than 12.5 thousand new cases of coronavirus were confirmed. At the same time, nearly two thousand more people recovered.
