“All strategic decisions on the road to peace in Donbass must be taken in constant and close dialogue with Ukrainian society. It is society that is the security factor that will not allow the Ukrainian authorities to embark on the path of surrender,” emphasized the diplomat. .
In particular, he pointed out that it was the active position of society that blocked the creation of the so-called “CADLO coordination council” at the initiative of Yermak-Kozak.
“Society has become a force capable of controlling that the red lines that were determined before the summit in the Normandy format are not violated by Bankova during the negotiations,” said Eliseev.
Moscow also made it quite clear that the dialogue with the President of Ukraine is interesting for him only from the point of view of the possibility of obtaining further concessions. According to Eliseev, Moscow will actively work to raise the qualifications of pro-Russian political forces, destroy Western support and discredit Ukraine internationally.
