The introduction of cash registers (PPO) for sole proprietors (FOP) was postponed until January 1, 2022. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the relevant law today.
This was reported by the press service of the Presidency.
Individual entrepreneurs who are sole taxpayers of the second or fourth group and whose income during the calendar year does not exceed the maximum income established for the first group of sole taxpayers, except those who operate in risk areas, will not be able to use the cash register until the 2021.
The penalties for non-compliance with cash with the amount indicated in the daily report of the cash register and for the lack of preliminary programming of goods in the cash register were canceled. Until January 1, 2022, the application of reduced financial penalties will also continue for violation of certain requirements of the law on the use of cash registers when conducting settlement transactions.
In addition, the document determines the maximum amount of income, the failure of which is one of the conditions for the application of the simplified tax system for the relevant groups of single taxpayers.
The law also provides for the exclusion of the rule on the compensation mechanism for buyers and consumers for complaints about violations of the procedure for conducting settlement transactions.
Let us remind you that the law on postponement of the cash register for sole proprietors was passed by parliament on December 1 amid protests by businessmen near Verkhovna Rada. However, the protests continued after the bill was passed.
