Imported gas has risen to a high since the beginning of the year

Natural gas was imported in November this year at $ 182.51 (UAH 5,161.51) per thousand cubic meters.

The price of imported gas in Ukraine compared to October 2020 increased by 6.2% in the equivalent of hryvnia (from 4858.4 hryvnia per thousand cubic meters) and by 6.6% in dollar terms (from 171.2 dollars per thousand cubic meters), writes RBC-Ukraine with reference to the website of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.

As of today, the price of gasoline in dollars is $ 182.5. The average customs value of imported natural gas in November 2020 was 5,161.5 hryvnia per thousand cubic meters.

In other words, the cost of gasoline jumped to $ 180. The price of imported gas rose to its highest level since the beginning of the year.

Korrespondent.net also wrote that Ukraine used two billion cubic meters of gas. This year Ukraine has approached the heating season with record gas reserves, but a third of them belong to foreigners.

As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada allowed the GTS operator to buy gasoline on the exchange. Buying gas on the trading platform will give an impetus for further development of the entire Ukrainian gas market and bring it closer to the markets of the European Union.
