At the same time, vaccines that are being prepared for mass production are stored in three cold modes: -60-80 degrees, -20-40 and +2 +8.
“For example, if we have a vaccine to store at +2 +8, we can reduce the vaccine to the district level. If -20 -40, to the regional level,” Kuzin said.
Therefore, if Ukraine receives the vaccine with the highest storage temperature, then it can only be stored domestically, he said.
“It can be stored only at the national level, where there is equipment, and then delivered in small batches to the regions and immediately returned to others. For example, one day people are vaccinated there and the next batch leaves there, ”he added.
The best option is a vaccine with a storage temperature of +2 +8 degrees.
As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed to develop a vaccination algorithm before purchasing a coronavirus vaccine.
Previously, the Ministry of Health predicted that in 2021 they plan to vaccinate half of the Ukrainian population against COVID-19.
