The representative of the Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Defender in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, Pavel Lisyansky, beat a guard in one of the Svyatogorsk restaurants, he was fired and a criminal case was opened.

According to the local daily Karachun, the incident occurred on the night of Saturday, December 5, at the restaurant of the Monarch complex.

Lisyansky was asked to leave the premises in connection with the restaurant’s closure. (Due to quarantine, there are restrictions on catering work at night). However, he refused, got into a verbal skirmish, and then started a fight with the guard.

A video of the incident, including a fight, was leaked online. “You are rubbish? Are you going to call the garbage? Did you call me trash or what? “- Lisyansky said to the guard, and then he pounced on him and threw him to the ground. He kicked the reclining guard.

Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova confirmed that her representative was involved in the conflict. According to her, the morning after the incident, Lisyansky informed her personally about the incident.

Lisyansky was suspended for two weeks in connection with an official check. After December 21, according to the results of the official investigation, the appropriate measures will be taken.

The press officer of the Slavic police department Maria Tyurina told Novosti Donbass that criminal proceedings were opened for this act under part 1 of article 125 of the Penal Code (willful minor bodily harm).
