As reported by the regional headquarters of the National Police, the accident occurred on December 6, at 6:50 p.m., in the village of Novaya Shibka.
It was previously established that the driver of an Opel car collided with a horse drawn by a cart on a rounded stretch of road.

“The animal ran uncontrollably towards the road, towards the car. As a result of the collision, the 69-year-old driver who was driving a foreign car and the animal were killed at the scene,” the central office said.
Now the police investigation group is working on the site. Law enforcement officers establish the circumstances that led to the tragedy. The issue of entering information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 2 of Article 286 (violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being resolved.
