Ukraine thanks the United States for supplying arms. Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry believes that the supply of arms will continue under the new government in the United States.
Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba spoke about this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
He is grateful to the Barack Obama administration for what it has done for Ukraine, but considers it a mistake not to provide arms to Ukraine.
“Now these doors are already open. Despite the then intimidation by the Russian Federation and its loyal speakers, the war did not break out with renewed vigor, and the weapons we received from the United States are used to strengthen our defenses. And I do not expect these doors can be closed when new management, “he said.
We recall that the United States approved the sale of up to 16 Mark VI patrol boats and equipment to Ukraine. These boats are designed to patrol coastal marine areas.
In addition, in late June, the United States transferred missiles to Ukraine for Javelin anti-tank missile systems. The missiles were transferred under a contract signed in December 2019.
