Leonid Kravchuk made a proposal to disconnect Russia from the SWIFT international payment system if Moscow does not take action towards Donbass. The Russian State Duma has already described the statement of the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG as provocative.
The Kremlin believes that such sanctions will not have Western support. This was said by Alexei Chepa, vice president of the international affairs committee of the State Duma, Channel 24 reports, citing the Russian media.

He also claimed that disconnecting Russia from the SWIFT international payment system would have negative consequences for the economies of other states.
Chepa noted that the Kremlin had already considered such a development of events, so they decided to create an alternative internal system: “Mir.”
The Russian deputy described as “stupid” to apply sanctions for the situation in Ukraine. “Kiev is not doing anything serious to resolve this internal conflict in Ukraine,” he added.
