Scammers have come up with a new way to steal money from bank cards. Now they are committing an email theft.
This was announced by the head of the Ukrposhta Igor Smelyansky.
“Dear customers! Some of you received an email newsletter allegedly from” Ukrposhta “demanding to pay the 2:15 am tax on an international package. This is a fraud! And not for the purpose of collecting 2: 15, but for the purpose of collecting credit card numbers for future cancellations, ”he wrote on Facebook.
Smelyansky cautioned that Ukrposhta does not send emails, furthermore, the email addresses of customers are not even in the database.
“Under no circumstances do you click on the link or give your card number. We do our best to establish the source (this is certainly not Ukrposhta) to avoid losing customers ”, he assured.
