A monument to Ukrainian cosmonaut Leonid Kadenyuk was unveiled today in Kiev at the Baikovo cemetery. The ceremony was attended by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the press service of the head of state reports. The sketch of the monument was chosen by the cosmonaut’s family, “the message reads.” Leonid Kadenyuk did a lot for Ukraine, and Ukraine should at least do something for him. I think we did everything on time, because on January 28 Leonid Kadenyuk would have turned 70 and people will have a place to come and honor his memory, “Zelensky said.
