The Cabinet of Ministers will announce the planned quarantine measures during a meeting on December 9. Tighter restrictions should be announced.
This was stated by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.
“We will publish a complete list of the measures already agreed during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers next Wednesday, December 9,” said the head of government.
Today, Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said that the Health Ministry will propose to the Cabinet of Ministers to approve a tightening of the quarantine for three weeks in January. At the same time, we are not talking about the blockade, which was in the spring.
Also on Friday, Shmygal said that if the quarantine is strengthened, the transport will work. According to him, transportation is not the main source of active spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
According to sources at RBC-Ukraine, the enhanced quarantine can be introduced from January 2 to 23. This is specifically about Enhanced Quarantine and not Lockdown. However, there is no exact date at the moment.
