What is the difference between restriction of liberty and imprisonment?

According to the Executive Criminal Code of Ukraine, a criminal sentenced to restriction of liberty must expiate his guilt. in prisons and without isolation from society… Will be supervised with mandatory participation in work.

At the same time, these convicts can wear ordinary clothes, use computers, mobile phones and carry money with you… In addition, they are allowed short-term visits without restrictions, and once a month, up to three days.

Criminals can even allow temporary travel outside prisons… In particular, in the case of vital circumstances that require your presence – treatment or other reasons.

Also, if the convicted person has a family and does not break the rules for six months, then he can live outside the center with my family, included in rented apartments… They will only be asked to report to the correctional facility one to four times a week to register.

But if you are guided by part 3 of article 61 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, the conditions under which convicted persons can avoid punishment in the form of restriction of liberty… Not used to various population groups, in particular, to retirees, pregnant women or women with children under fourteen years of age, as well as people with disabilities in groups I and II.

That is, it is possible that the attackers could receive a sanction in the form of a fine or community service.
