Separatist sniper wounds Ukrainian military

The soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hospitalized, now he is stable. The Ukrainian side sent a notification to the OSCE about the incident.

In Donbass, separatists opened sniper fire on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a Ukrainian soldier was injured. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG on Telegram on Friday, December 4.

In the Donetsk region, at 10:46 a.m. in the Luganskoe village area (Svetlodarsk), a Ukrainian soldier was injured as a result of sniper fire. He was hospitalized, his condition is stable.

In connection with the incident, the Ukrainian side requested a “regime of silence” through the coordination mechanism and also sent a written notification to the OSCE follow-up mission. Additionally, a JCCC observation team is taking steps to verify the incident.

Let us remember that previously the separatists fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with mortars. Near Vodyanoye, the enemy fired at positions with 120 caliber mortars and an automatic grenade launcher.
