The department explained that it was cast from concrete to protect the monument from vandals.
Among those present at the inauguration was the mother of the murdered Irina Kaminska, as well as the deputy and adviser to the Minister of the Interior.

In addition, Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko gave a speech: “She volunteered to fight in the Kiev-2 battalion, she is a fearless fighter, a woman is an example to many. I am proud to have met this man. The Russian mercenaries did not leave Amina and her husband alone, they avenged their outspoken pro-Ukrainian position. “
Gerashchenko added that the main suspect, Igor Redkin, is now under investigation and the case is ready to go to court.
In turn, the adviser to the Interior Minister, Zoryan Shkiryak, pointed out that Okueva fought for the independence of both Ukraine and Ichkeria.

On January 12, 2020, the National Police of Ukraine announced the arrest of a group of murderers suspected of committing this crime.
The journalists learned the identity of one of the detainees. It turned out to be a businessman from Kiev, Igor Redkin, who is involved in two more murder cases.
The Interior Ministry clarified that there were seven people in the criminal group suspected of murdering Okueva.
