Illegitimate President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has lost his humanity due to lack of powerless self-perception and too strong attachment to Russia.
This opinion was expressed by the first president of Ukraine, head of the Ukrainian delegation of the Trilateral Contact Group, Leonid Kravchuk, in an interview with Radio Liberty. In his opinion, Belarus is now forced to go through a human and political tragedy.
“I believe that During 26 years in power, Lukashenka has become power itself. There are practically no human beings left in it. Everything is woven with power. Therefore, it cannot be done without power. He loses everything human and only perceives administrative power. For this reason, for him, the people are material for the government, and not citizens who must be respected, who are the source of power, ”said the politician.
At the same time, he noted, The influence of Russia on him played a major role in Lukashenka’s fate. After all, the Belarusian politician has always been convinced and still believes that Moscow, in any case, in critical situations will support him personally, and not Belarus.
“These two moments made him a leader who lost his human qualities of humanity, kindness and respect, sympathy for people,” concluded Kravchuk.
