The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is preparing a project for the full test of COVID-19. They want to celebrate it in Kiev and other big cities.

Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denis Shmygal stated this in an interview with Korrespondent magazine.

According to him, today the government is working on a total testing project for COVID-19.

“The priorities are Kiev and the region, regional centers and large cities with a population of more than 100,000 people,” Shmygal said.

He also added that there will still be restrictions on the business at the end of the year, even though this is the time for traditional earnings.

“What will they be: we are now discussing with all stakeholders. We need to take stock of the weekend quarantine to understand its effectiveness and draw up an action plan for the end of the year,” Shmygal emphasized.

We will recall, earlier, that the mayor of Kiev, Vitaliy Klitschko, said that the capital will not conduct mass tests of people for COVID-19.

The Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers, Oleg Nemchinov, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, stated that it was impossible to conduct general tests, since Ukraine is a large country with a huge population.

And Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said that for such tests, about 120 billion hryvnia are needed.
