“All the circumstances of the case are being investigated, and as soon as they are established, countermeasures will be developed,” Rabii said.
Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was in charge of the research center of the country’s Defense Ministry. The attempt on his life took place on November 27 in the area of the city of Damovend (Tehran province).
The scientist was shot from a parked car. He died in the hospital.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Israel’s trail can be traced to the assassination of a specialist.
Before that, Iran was reported to have announced a three-country conspiracy to assassinate Fakhrizadeh.
