Authorities have yet to make a decision on whether to stop public transportation during the shutdown, a source told GORDON.
The strict quarantine in Ukraine will be introduced after the New Year, from January 2-15. An informed source told the “GORDON” edition.
The interlocutor added that the two-week quarantine seems to the Ukrainian authorities “the most rational solution” in the current situation.
The issue of the operation of public transport during the blockade is still under discussion.

On November 25, it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers and the Office of the President of Ukraine are considering the possibility of introducing a total blockade. In an interview with GORDON editor-in-chief Ales Batsman, the deputy head of the President’s Office Kirill Tymoshenko said that the decision to introduce a strict quarantine could be made based on an analysis of the effectiveness of the “end quarantine week “(on December 2, the Cabinet decided not to extend it).
The secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, said that in any case a lockdown will be introduced in Ukraine, but the date has not yet been determined.
