There are 13,141 new cases of coronavirus in Ukraine

During the last day in Ukraine, more than 13 thousand infected with COVID-19. At the same time, the number of recovered exceeded the number of new coronavirus infections.

In Ukraine, as of December 2, 13,141 cases of the coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded. At the same time, a record number of patients was recovered: 13,882, Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said on his Facebook page.

In total, 67,626 COVID-19 tests were performed per day. Of these, 44,445 by PCR and 23,181 by ELISA.

Most of the infections were detected in the Kiev (+1735), Odessa (+1147), Kiev (+975), Zaporozhye (+947) and Sumy (+727) regions.

Since the start of the pandemic, 758,264 people have already been infected in the country. 12 717 (+169) people died from complications, 369 054 (+13 882) recovered. 389,210 patients remain active patients.

The previous record for the number of recoveries was recorded on November 6, when 10,762 patients were cured.

On the eve of the media reported that strict quarantine will be introduced from December 23 to January 15, and this will be reported on Wednesday.

The Verkhovna Rada reported that the decision on the closure will be made before the end of the week after Stepanov’s report.
