The blockade in Ukraine due to the situation with the spread of the coronavirus in the country will be introduced anyway. The only thing the authorities are currently discussing is the timing of its introduction. This was announced on the air of the television channel Ukraine 24 by the Secretary of the Security and National Defense Council, Alexei Danilov.
“The only question is the time, either in December or from January 2. There is now a discussion with experts on this matter,” Danilov said.
He added that on Sunday, November 30, a meeting was held with the participation of the President of Ukraine, in which the introduction of strict quarantine restrictions was discussed.
“The fact that there will be a blockade is one hundred percent,” Danilov emphasized.
The NSDC secretary also noted that everything will depend on how the Ukrainians comply with the quarantine.
Before that, it was learned that the head of the infrastructure ministry said whether transportation would stop in the event of a complete shutdown.
