No plans to restrict traffic in Ukraine
In case of total quarantine, traffic will not be restricted, said the head of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
During consultations on the introduction of a stricter quarantine, the question of transport closure does not arise. Infrastructure Minister Vladislav Krikliy spoke about this on air to Snidanka z 1 + 1.
“Even in those countries that introduced some restrictions on the operation of various industries, transport continued to function. This is an artery mainly for the economy. Otherwise, it is difficult to maintain commercial activity. I will insist that transport continues to function,” he said Krikliy.
He clarified that it is not planned to restrict any transport: urban, intraregional, interurban transport and the railroad will work. Nor will domestic flights be canceled. With regard to international flights, the situation in the other country should be taken into account.
“Individual cases are possible, but were not considered. Consultations are being made on the introduction of a stricter quarantine, but there are no end dates,” Krikliy emphasized.
He also added that it is necessary to proceed from a rational approach and people will move by public transport mainly for business needs.
We will recall, three days ago, the head of the ruling faction said that so far there are no prerequisites for the immediate introduction of a blockade. First of all, he stressed, it is said about the number of beds and the rate of spread of the disease.
