Today, December 1, in Kiev, under the walls of the Verkhovna Rada, a protest action of businessmen is taking place. The police switched to extended work hours.

The SaveFOP protest action was organized by the “Trade Union for the Protection of Employers”. The main requirements are the approval by parliament of bills on a simplified tax system for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the abolition of the introduction of fiscal cash registers.

Kiev police said that employees of the capital’s police, National Guard soldiers, dialogue police, explosives and representatives of other structural divisions of the Interior Ministry system were transferred to an improved service regime.
“The police are carrying out preventive explanatory work with the participants of the events in order to prevent violations of the law and ensure the peaceful development of the events,” said the police.
The police also noted that in connection with the protest, it is possible to restrict traffic to certain central streets of Kiev, including Hrushevsky Street.
It should be noted that during the last protest action of the businessmen on November 17, clashes with the police took place near the Rada.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that President Volodymyr Zelensky submitted a bill to the Verkhovna Rada on postponing the introduction of cash registers for private entrepreneurs.
It was also reported that parliament was recommended to include in the agenda a bill that provides for the payment of compensation to private entrepreneurs during the quarantine.
