Ukraine’s Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said the department did not intend to extend the weekend quarantine. At the same time, he added that the preliminary results of the weekend’s quarantine will be released this week.
Stepanov said this on the air of “Ukraine 24”.
The minister said the final results of the weekend’s quarantine will be released next week.
“We have an incubation period of 14 to 21 days. In the middle of this week, we will be able to give preliminary results of the weekend quarantine. But let me remind you that the first weekend passed in which we practically did not comply with the quarantine of the weekend, “he said.
According to the minister, a downward trend in the dynamics of coronavirus infection is already visible.
When asked if the weekend quarantine will be extended, Stepanov replied: “I don’t think we will come up with such a proposal.”
We will recall, the president of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov did not rule out the introduction of a blockade in Ukraine.
In addition, in Ukraine on November 29, for the first time in the last two weeks, less than 10 thousand new cases of coronavirus were registered.
