Coronavirus in Ukraine on November 30 confirmed in less than 10 thousand people for the first time in two weeks

In Ukraine, during the last day, 9,946 new cases of coronavirus were registered. This is the first time in two weeks that the number of new infections has not exceeded 10,000.

This was announced by the Minister of Health, Maxim Stepanov, on Facebook.

Most of the new cases were confirmed in the Kiev (1,460), Dnepropetrovsk (1,138), Odessa (818), Zaporozhye (725), and Kiev (691) regions.

At the same time, 31,901 COVID-19 tests were performed per day, of which 26,290 were by PCR and 5,611 by ELISA. The day before, when 12,978 infections were confirmed, more than 49,000 coronavirus tests were performed.

The last time less than 10 thousand new cases were registered in Ukraine on November 16, then 9 832 people were infected per day.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 732 625 cases of COVID-19 have already been confirmed in Ukraine, 12 327 (+114) patients have died, 345 149 (+5 771) have recovered. 387,476 people are still active patients.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that the country has decreased the occupancy of hospital beds for COVID-19 patients. As of November 29, 47.5% of the beds were still occupied.

Let us remind you that the head of the Servants of the People faction, David Arakhamia, said that the government is considering the option of an “intellectual blockade” in Ukraine.
