Nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who is called the head of Iran’s nuclear program, was killed with a remotely controlled weapon. The killing took place on the morning of November 27 near Tehran.

The Iranian news agency Fars reported.

The scientist was driving an armored vehicle, accompanied by three vehicles from his security service. One of the security cars advanced and drove off to check the situation. At that moment, several bullets hit Fakhrizade’s car and the scientist got out of the car, thinking that the car collided with something or that there were problems with the engine, reports the agency.

Subsequently, from a Nissan car, which was 150 meters from the scientist’s car, fire was opened with automatic small arms, which were controlled from a distance.

According to Fars, two bullets struck Fakhrizada’s side and one into Fakhrizada’s back, causing brain damage to his back.

The scientist was covered by a bodyguard, who was also hit by several bullets. After that, Nissan exploded. There was no one at the scene of the murder except Fakhrizade’s husbands and guards. The owner of the fired Nissan left the country on October 29.

Recall that on November 27, one of the leading physicists, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, was assassinated in Iran. He is believed to have been one of the founders of the Iranian military nuclear program.

Additionally, a military adviser to Iran’s supreme leader said the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh could spark a confrontation between Iran and its opponents before the departure of US President Donald Trump.

We add that Iran believes that the United States and Israel may be involved in the assassination of nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
