Roman Klichuk was elected in the second round of the elections for mayor of Chernivtsi. About 60% of the voters voted for him.

Roman Klichuk and Vitaly Mikhailishin fought for the position of mayor of Chernivtsi. In the first round, Klichuk won, obtaining 27.29% of the votes, while 21.33% of the voters voted for Mikhailishin.
