In Chernivtsi, members of the electoral commission signed empty protocols

Now investigators are deciding the question of entering information about the incident into the Unified Register of Preliminary Investigations on the basis of an article on falsification, falsification, kidnapping, damage or destruction of electoral documentation, referendum documentation, kidnapping, damage, concealment, destruction of the seal of the electoral commission, referendum commission, ballot boxes, list of voters or participants in the referendum (part 4 of article 158-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As you know, on November 29 the second round of local elections for the position of president of the Chernivtsi city council takes place. Candidates Roman Klichuk (United Alternative) and Vitaly Mikhailishin (Team Mikhailishin) attend.

In the first round on October 25, Klichuk received 15,350 votes (27.29%), Vitaly Mikhailishin – 11,998 (21.33%). Voter turnout was nearly 35%.

We recall that the second round of elections in Chernivtsi was under threat of interruption. Several political parties reported on the termination of the mandate of their members of the electoral commissions of the precincts, compromising the legitimacy of the commissions.
