There is still no reason to introduce a total block

The situation with the number of free beds in COVID hospitals and the rate of spread of the infection does not require an immediate strict quarantine.

At the moment, there are enough beds in Ukraine, and so far there are no prerequisites for the immediate introduction of a strict quarantine. This was announced on Saturday, November 28, by the head of the Servants of the People faction, David Arahamia, in a comment to journalists after a meeting of the leaders of the factions and the prime minister, reports Ukrinform.

“Regarding the lockdown, Mr. Shmygal said there are estimates by epidemiologists that for the lockdown to work, it takes 15 days to at least three weeks for it to have a tangible effect on reducing (morbidity But as of now, we have enough beds and now there are no prerequisites for an immediate closure. Once again, we hear assurances that parliament will know of a possible closure date seven days before it is introduced, “said Arahamia.

He stressed that as soon as prerequisites exist, companies will be warned and there will be at least a week to prepare for quarantine.

At the same time, he noted that the prerequisites for the introduction of a total blockade are, first of all, the number of beds and the rate of spread of the disease.

Arahamia also said when companies should expect compensation due to the quarantine.

He also said that according to the results of the weekend’s quarantine, if necessary, the parliament will be ready to adjust the restrictions.
