The adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader Hossein Dehkan called the killing of the nuclear engineer an attempt to unleash a war in the region.

The official representative of the UN secretary general, commenting on the assassination of Iranian nuclear physicist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, urged avoiding measures that could lead to an escalation of the conflict in the region. This was reported on Saturday, November 28 by RIA Novosti.

“We call for restraint and the need to avoid any action that could increase tensions in the region,” Haq said.

Fakhrizadeh, according to the Iranian Defense Ministry, was fatally wounded as a result of a clash between his security personnel and terrorists in Tehran. An explosion thundered at the scene, after which the car was fired upon with the nuclear physicist.

According to Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Israel may be involved in the assassination of Fakhrizade.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Hossein Dehkan’s adviser said Fakhrizadeh’s assassination is another attempt to increase pressure on Iran to further trigger a full-scale armed conflict in the Middle East. He promised to fall on the murderous physique, “like thunder.”

In 2008, an Iranian nuclear physicist was subjected to US economic sanctions as the author of Iranian nuclear technology.

Recall that one of the founders of Iran’s nuclear program, a high-ranking nuclear scientist, Muhsin Fakhrizadeh, was assassinated near Tehran. It is observed that first a suicide bomber exploded at the scene and then other attackers fired at the scientist’s car.
