“The office of the military prosecutor of the Donetsk garrison of the specialized prosecutor’s office in the military and defense field of the United Forces arrested a military man for the fact of violating the legal norms of relations between the military in the absence of relations of subordination, as well as by theft (part 2 of article 406, part 1 of article 187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) “, – says the message.

According to preliminary data, the soldier “beat the victim, doused him with flammable liquid, set him on fire, and also seized the money.”

“The wounded soldier was transferred to the Central City Hospital in the city of Toretsk with a closed head injury, flame burns in the lower right limb,” explained the OGPU.

The department said they plan to announce suspicions to the detainee. The case is handled by the State Investigation Office.
