In the Donetsk region, a soldier from one of the units beat and set fire to a colleague. The aggressor was arrested, the question of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
This is expressed in the message of the Attorney General of the Republic.
It is reported that a soldier from one of the military units inflicted bodily injury on his colleague. He beat it, doused it with flammable liquid, set it on fire, and stole it too.
“The soldier was transferred to the Central City Hospital of the city of Toretsk with a closed head injury, flame burning in the lower right limb. Now the issue of informing the detainee about the suspicion and choosing a preventive measure is being decided,” says the message.
The pre-trial investigation was entrusted to investigators from the territorial department of the CRR in Kramatorsk.
Recall, it was previously reported that in Stanytsia Luhanska a Ukrainian soldier shot and killed his colleague and tried to pass off the incident as a suicide.
Note that the Attorney General Irina Venediktova said that in the period from March to October in the area of the Joint Forces operation, non-combat-related losses amounted to 44 people. This is double the combat losses in 2020.
