During the year, the average salary increased by 13.5%, says the State Statistics Service.
At the beginning of November, the average salary in Ukraine, according to the State Statistics Service, was 12,174 hryvnia.
In October, the average salary in Ukraine increased by 1.5% compared to September and amounted to 12,174 hryvnia, which is the highest since the beginning of the year, according to the State Statistics Service.
At the same time, taking inflation into account, real wages increased by 10.6% during the year and nominal wages by 13.5%.
The highest wages – in Kiev – 17 494 hryvnia, and the lowest – in the Chernivtsi region – 9 926 hryvnia.
On average, regional salaries are in the range of 10-11 thousand hryvnia.
Employees in the financial and insurance spheres are the highest earners – 20,511 UAH, the lowest of all – temporary accommodation and catering – 6,960 UAH.
Note that in the draft budget for 2021, the average monthly salary is expected to reach 13.6 thousand hryvnia.
At the same time, according to the IMF, it was decided to postpone the increase in the minimum wage to 6,500 UAH until December.
