The head of the President’s Office fired his adviser and said he had the opportunity to transfer corruption materials to law enforcement officials.

The head of the President’s Office accepted the resignation of his adviser Igor Umansky. He wrote about this on Facebook on Friday, November 27, also talking about zero tolerance for corruption.

“Today I met with my former adviser Igor Umansky. I told him the following. We have zero tolerance for corruption; this was repeatedly repeated by President Vladimir Zelensky, and this is the core value of our team’s internal culture,” Yermak wrote.

He noted that he considers it “incorrect to accept the resignation letter not from him personally, but to read it on the Internet.”

“If I had not pinned high hopes on your experience and analytical skills in the context of overcoming corruption in Ukraine, I would not have invited you to join the Office team as my advisor,” Yermak said.

According to the head of the OP, Umansky had enough opportunities to transfer any analytical material to law enforcement officials.

“I think every opportunity was created for him to pass on any necessary information to state leaders, the government, and the law enforcement system.

We will remember, Umansky said he resigned on November 12. Then he mentioned the weekend quarantine.

Later, he announced that he resigned due to the situation in the Tax and Customs Service, which could not improve in six months.
