In Russia, during the last 24 hours, the maximum number of COVID-19 coronavirus cases since the beginning of the pandemic was revealed: 25,487 cases in 85 regions. In total, 2,187,990 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in Russia.

There is also an increase in confirmed deaths. At the end of Wednesday, 507 deaths were confirmed, on Thursday there were already 524, this is an anti-record for the second day in a row. A total of 38,062 Russians have died of coronavirus.

The number of recovered patients increased by 25,073 per day and a total of 1,685,492 patients have already been discharged. 464,436 people continue in treatment

Earlier this week, the Kremlin explained why President Vladimir Putin will not yet be vaccinated with the Sputnik V vaccine, which Russia is actively trying to promote around the world.
