The electoral commission declared Alexander Senkevich the winner of the mayoralty of Nikolaev. Almost 54.5 thousand voters voted for him. 35,416 citizens voted for their opponent.
In Nikolaev, the city’s territorial electoral commission named the winner in the mayoral elections. It was Alexander Senkevich. This was reported at the city’s TEC during a meeting on Wednesday, November 25.
A total of 54,411 voters voted for Oleksandr Senkevich (the Proposition party), which is 59.74% of those who voted, and 35,416 Nikolaev residents (40.26% of all those who voted in the second round) voted by his rival Vladislav Chayka of the OPSL.
Senkevich was elected mayor of Nikolaev for the second time. In the 2015 elections, he obtained 54.9% of the votes.
