The Ministry of Health of Ukraine supports the introduction of stricter restrictions in Ukraine. A stricter quarantine is being introduced in terms of epidemiology and growth figures.
This was stated by the Minister of Health of Ukraine, Maxim Stepanov, on the air of one of the Ukrainian television channels.
The minister pointed out that to improve the situation with COVID-19, it is necessary to break the chain of transmission of the disease.
“It’s clear that we are looking and talking about the fact that we can have this and that there may be a stricter quarantine,” he said.
According to him, there is another side: the Ukrainian economy, which may suffer due to the introduction of a total blockade.
“But, it is clear that there may be such circumstances, we will have to introduce it, for our health,” Stepanov said.
In the event of a stricter quarantine, this will apply to all regions of Ukraine, the minister noted.
“If we are talking about a strict quarantinethen he will worry everyone without exception, people, so to speak, relatively speaking, in the spring ”, – he summed up.
