In Odessa, a conversation in Russian on a tram ended in a scandal. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to local Telegram channels.

The reason for the conflict in transport was the conversation of one of the passengers in Russian. An elderly woman aggressively expressed her dissatisfaction with such actions and demanded to change the Ukrainian, but the passenger refused. After that, the instigator of the conflict began to threaten and insult his traveling companion.

A man posing as a law enforcement officer also participated in the skirmish, who advised the aggressive woman to go to Lvov or Ternopil “and whistle there.” It is not reported how the fight ended.

Earlier, Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov said that Marshal Georgy Zhukov’s name was returned to the city’s central avenue. According to him, the decision to change the name of the avenue was made personally by former Governor Mikhail Saakashvili during the decommunication campaign in Ukraine. Now the street, named after the Hundred Celestials, the Euromaidan fighters killed during the clashes with law enforcement officers, will return its historical name, as Saakashvili’s decision was illegal.
