Changes in traffic rules, which came into force in Ukraine, force taxi drivers and passengers to wear seat belts, and pedestrians to wear reflective elements on their clothing at night. This was announced by the first deputy chief of the Ukrainian patrol police Oleksiy Beloshitskiy.

“Whereas former taxi drivers and passengers could not wear seat belts while driving in the village, and driving instructors, and outside of it, now all must buckle up. This rule obliges taxi drivers to ensure the presence of seat belts. front and rear seat safety and remind passengers of the need to use them, “Beloshitsky emphasized.
According to him, only drivers and passengers with disabilities, if it is physiologically impossible, as well as drivers and passengers of operational and special vehicles, can not sit in a village.
“It is forbidden to change the size, shape, designation, color and placement of license plates, add additional designations or cover them, they must be clean and sufficiently illuminated,” said the post.
Bicyclists were allowed to use the lane of the vehicle route. Pedestrians should use reflective items in the dark and in poor visibility conditions.
“At night and in conditions of insufficient visibility, pedestrians who move on the road or along the side of the road must use reflective elements (adhesive tape, stickers, vest) or wear clothing that has reflective elements,” explained the deputy chief of the police patrol.
During 10 months of 2020, more than 2.8 thousand people were victims of road accidents in Ukraine, Beloshitsky said on November 15. According to him, nTraffic accident prevention is real – you just have to comply with traffic regulations.
