In the Donetsk region, near the city of Avdeevka, a soldier from the Kiev region, Private Major Vyacheslav Minkin, was killed by a bullet from an enemy sniper.

The Fastov city council announced this on its Facebook page on Tuesday, November 24.

“Vyacheslav Yuryevich Minkin, 31, was married with a son. In 2019 he received a medal for participating in the battles of the Svetlodar Bulge,” the message says.

The City Council promised to announce later the date, time and place of dismissal of the defender of Ukraine.

As a reminder, on November 24, the Joint Forces positions near Avdiivka were attacked by an enemy sniper. One of the Ukrainian soldiers was injured.

Later it became known that a wounded soldier near Avdiivka was killed. He was hospitalized from a post in serious condition. The doctors could not save him.
