The Dynamo have earned respect in each of the previous three Champions League group stage matches. Yes, there were some mistakes, but the big picture contrasts with what we saw last year in the Europa League games. After all, leaving everything for the last round and the second series of confrontations with “Ferencvaros” is very risky.
In a weakened state in front of the almost stronger cage of “Barcelona” at the “Camp Nou” he did not manage to score points only because of the low level of scoring chances, and the excellent play of the Catalan goalkeeper ter Stegen. Now the circumstances are more favorable: “Barcelona” arrived in Kiev after a painful defeat against “Atlético”, as well as without several bases. The “Dynamo” himself should have realized that with Ronald Koeman’s team you can play on equal terms. And here’s a chance: after the famous pogroms of 1997, the “Dynamo” have never taken points away from “Barcelona”. Today will be the perfect opportunity.

Despite their problems in La Liga, Barcelona are unscathed in the Champions League. But here is the paradox: the content and quality of the game in the first round of the group stage left no doubts only about the away game with Juve. With the capital outsiders of the group “Ferencvaros” and “Dynamo” in their field, the “Barcelona” had to “play”. Ronald Koeman was nervous.
But the game is forgotten, but the result is not. This postulate is more relevant than ever for Barça’s performance in the current European campaign. The Spanish press, the Barça players and Ronald Koeman paid tribute to the Dynamo after the game at the Camp Nou, but the Catalan delegation arrived in Kiev without fear and without fear. This, at least, can be judged by the manager’s decision regarding Messi and De Jong: Barca’s key players had a break, even in the face of staff shortages.
Fati, Araujo, Piqué, Roberto, Umtiti and Busquets are Barcelona’s injuries. As you can see, the defense line suffered especially badly. The situation of the Dynamo squad is not critical, but the absence of the team’s two best players in the game at the Camp Nou (Gerson Rodríguez and Viktor Tsygankov) seriously limits the potential of Mircea Lucescu’s team. But Vlad Supryaga will have another chance. In Spain he had a great opportunity to score, but the forward did not take advantage of it. In general, Vlad hasn’t scored in exactly two months, or nine fights in a row, this is not typical of a footballer who has made great strides.

Although Mircea Lucescu can find an alternative to Supryaga. We add the talents of Pedri and Dest here and we have a squad that is capable of fighting not only with “Dynamo”, but also with more status rivals.
Koeman’s problems, as already mentioned, are at the center of defense. Here we predict the departure of young Mingez. Another question is who will play in the support zone (we start from the fact that Barcelona will come out in Kuman’s traditional 4-2-3-1 formation) alongside Pjanic.

Barcelona is the favorite. Whichever squad Ronald Koeman puts in, the Spanish will have a class advantage. But the Dynamo have already shown that they can withstand this class thanks to their hard work and discipline. The losses of Sidorchuk, Tsygankov and Rodríguez are significant, but De Pena, Verbic, Shaparenko and Buyalsky can play no less actively. If we manage to avoid panic in the opening minutes and do not lose a fast ball, then the “Dynamo” will not be left without a chance to score points.
