Protests in Belarus
Regular protests against President Alexander Lukashenko were held in Minsk on November 22, united under the general name of March against the Nazis.
Belarusians continue to protest against Alexander Lukashenko’s regime. Security officials continue to violently suppress the protests. The regime and the people are already accusing each other of fascism.
Lukashenko says that the white, red and white Belarusian national flag used by the protesters are “fascist symbols.”
After the murder of 31-year-old Roman Bondarenko in the courtyard of his own home, protesters are already calling the authorities fascists.
On Sunday, November 22, regular protests were held in Minsk, which came together under the general name March Against the Nazis.

Overclocking again
On the eve of the actions, military equipment was introduced into the city, the largest squares were blocked by barriers. In the city center, ten subway stations were closed at the entrance and exit, disruptions in mobile Internet work were reported. Nothing new.
Official achievements of the police after the results of the action: more than 200 arrested. According to the Viasna human rights center, a total of 276 people were arrested in Minsk and other cities.
Terrorism controversy
The authorities are also fighting with the telegram channels, the main coordinators of the protests in the country. Thus, the Belarusian State Security Committee included the founder of the Nexta and Nexta Live telegram channels, Stepan Putilo, and the former editor-in-chief of Roman Protasevich publications on the list of people involved in terrorist activities.
In total, the list consists of 726 names. Putilo and Protasevich are the only citizens of Belarus in it. The Nexta telegram channel itself and its logo are recognized as extremist materials on the territory of Belarus.
Nexta is the most famous Belarusian opposition resource that gained widespread popularity amid protests against the results of the 2020 presidential elections in the country. Nexta’s editorial office is located in Warsaw.
In response, Belarusian opponent Svetlana Tikhanovskaya demanded that OMON and the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption (GUBAZIK) of the Belarusian Interior Ministry be recognized as terrorist organizations.
“Since GUBAZIK and OMON have become criminal gangs, we are starting the procedure to recognize these organizations as extremists or terrorists. All employees who do not resign until the end of the investigation will be recognized as accomplices and will receive sanctions and confiscation of assets. Only those security officers who will be transferred can count on amnesty. on the side of the people “- said Tikhanovskaya.
There are not enough doctors
Along with the protests, the coronavirus epidemic continues in Belarus. The same one whose existence Lukashenka denied for so long.
According to official statistics, around 1,500 people fall ill every day in the country. But according to the doctors themselves and the press, these statistics are highly underestimated and do not reflect the real situation at all.
The problem is that regular work with security force victims has added to the covid burden of Belarusian doctors in the last three months.
In addition, doctors also participate in protests, they are also regularly detained, creating an additional shortage of hands in a pandemic.
More than 4,000 Belarusian doctors have already signed an open letter to the authorities demanding an end to the violence by the security forces, the release of political prisoners and the invalidation of the official results of the presidential elections.
It is not known with certainty how many doctors were persecuted. According to the Belarusian Medical Solidarity Fund, at least 15 people were fired for political reasons. At least 20 doctors are currently serving administrative arrest and more than 150 have received fines throughout the period of the protests.
The Belarus General Prosecutor’s Office also opened a criminal case against an emergency hospital doctor, who shared information about a medical examination of the late Roman Bondarenko. According to security agents and Alexander Lukashenko, the late Roman was allegedly intoxicated with alcohol, but doctors categorically denied this version.
