NSDC assessed timing of COVID vaccination in Ukraine

Mass vaccination of the population requires careful preliminary preparation, the NSDC said.

All Ukrainians can get vaccinated against the coronavirus by the end of 2021, but you need to prepare well for this. This was stated by the president of the biosafety and biological protection commission of the National Security and Defense Council, Sergey Komissarenko, on Monday, November 23.

According to him, every country in the world is interested in people getting vaccinated in every other state. In order for mass vaccination to be successful in Ukraine, it is necessary to promote vaccination against coronavirus.

“We are faced with tasks, first to provide the vaccine itself. But the vaccination process itself is very important, we must carefully prepare for this. I think we will be able to vaccinate the whole country by the end of next year. But vaccination propaganda is needed. , because in Ukraine, and there are many people in the world who are against vaccination, ”Komissarenko stressed.

Let’s remember that the G20 will help to distribute the vaccine equitably. G20 leaders worry that the pandemic could further exacerbate the divisions between rich and poor.

It was also reported that the G20 countries are asking for $ 5 billion for a COVID vaccine for poor countries. Adequate funding is needed for a global strategy to overcome the pandemic, GAVI said.
