The head of the patrol police of Ukraine, Yevgeny Zhukov, attempted the action of the stun gun “Taser”.
This was stated by the Minister of the Interior of Ukraine, Arsen Avakov, on his Twitter and published a video.
“The head of the patrol police of Ukraine, Yevgeny Zhukov, tested the action of the Taser stun gun. It is a medically certified non-lethal weapon that immobilizes the offender, but does not cause dangerous injuries,” the minister wrote.
Avakov also showed a video in which Zhukov demonstrates the operation of the stun gun on himself.
“Taser helps to briefly immobilize the offender if the situation requires urgent action,” the patrol police chief said.
He noted that this device is used by the police in many countries.
“Today, this is a safe way to arrest a criminal … The use of the Taser was approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine,” Zhukov said and tested it on himself.
“It was quite unpleasant, but I was healthy and whole, my muscles contracted as much as I could, but I was conscious the whole time and could breathe freely. As soon as the Taser was turned off, the discomfort disappeared,” Zhukov said of his feelings after use the stun gun.
We will recall, in Poland, that the Ukrainian detained by the police died after receiving an electric shock.
We also write that the police will allow to hit Ukrainians with electric shocks.
