The Simferopol reservoir has almost completely dried up

The most troublesome is the town of Skalistoye in the Bakhchisarai region. There the water level dropped to 100 cubic meters per day, which allows us to supply ourselves with water for only 30 minutes a day.

In annexed Crimea, dozens of settlements have various restrictions on their water supply. This was stated by the head of the Water of Crimea company, Vladimir Bazhenov, at a meeting of the operational headquarters, reports Crimea.Realii on Monday, November 23.

According to him, there are a total of 29 settlements in Crimea, which, due to the cessation of catchment work or wells, have been transferred to the water supply or transport scheme.

“Alushta region – 12 settlements, Bakhchisaray region – 5 settlements, the most problematic is the village of Skalistoye. There were two captures, the water level dropped to 100 cubic meters per day, allowing us to supply water for only 15 minutes – from 6:00 to 6:15 in the morning and from 11:00 to 11:15 in the afternoon. The rest of the village is in transport. There are 6 settlements of this type in the district of Belogorsk, one in the Leninsky and Sudak district, and 4 in Feodosia, “Bazhenov said.

Last week, Evpatoria announced the reduction of water pressure in the city’s networks at night to save money. And today it became known about the closing of hot water at the end of the year.

Earlier in Simferopol, the water supply schedule was tightened. Simferopol residents will receive even less water due to the critical situation with the filling of reservoirs amid the drought in Crimea.
