The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 increased
During a week, 90 thousand cases of coronavirus were detected in Ukraine, while a week earlier there were just over 76 thousand.
The situation with the spread of the coronavirus disease does not allow the quarantine to be weakened in any region of Ukraine. The worst situation willing to ease restrictions is in the Sumy, Chernivtsi and Zhytomyr regions. This was announced on Monday, November 23, according to the press service of the Ministry of Health.
According to the Ministry of Health, the highest incidence rate per 100 thousand inhabitants is registered in the Sumy region – 781.2 (+), in the Zhytomyr region – 664.3 (+) and in the Chernivtsi region – 662.2 (-).
The lowest incidence rate: in the Kirovograd region – 131.0 (+), in the Lugansk region – 169.6 (-) and in the Vinnitsa region – 189.0 (-).
Meanwhile, the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov, said during a briefing that the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 has increased in Ukraine. Over the past week, there were 10,597 of them last week against 9,653 the previous one.
“(For one week – ed.) We received exactly 90 thousand confirmed cases of COVID in the country. This is almost 14 thousand more than in the week before the previous one, when there were 76 thousand 221 cases, respectively,” said Maxim Stepanov.
He pointed out that in some regions there are problems with the occupation of beds in hospitals, since there is a tense situation there.
Recall that during the last day in Ukraine, almost 11 thousand cases of COVID-19 were detected.
