On Sunday, November 22, the second round of local elections was held in 11 major cities of Ukraine – Berdyansk, Dnieper, Drohobych, Lvov, Nikolaev, Nikopol, Poltava, Rovno, Slavyansk, Uzhgorod, Cherkasy.

The average turnout in the mayoral elections on November 22 was 29.53%:

  • Berdyansk: 39.23%.
  • Dnieper: 23.93%.
  • Drohobych – 30.21%.
  • Lviv: 38.94%.
  • Nikolaev – 28.40%.
  • Nikopol: 24.20%.
  • Poltava: 25.52%.

DROGOBYCH REGION LVIV

Preliminary results of the vote count in the Drohobych Mayor Elections on November 22:

  • Taras Kuchma, incumbent mayor and self-proclaimed candidate: 50.57%, 13,109 votes.
  • Andrey Vesely, self-proclaimed candidate: 48.38%, 12,542 votes.

This was reported by “VARTO – Galitskiye Novosti” with reference to a source at the TEC. In total, 25,922 residents of Drohobych participated in the electoral process. The official vote count continues.

BERDYANSK OF THE ZAPOROZHYA REGION

Results of the parallel vote count in the Berdyansk mayor elections on November 22:

  • Valery Baranov, “For the Future” – 51.42%, 17,284 votes.
  • Alexander Svidlo, “OPZZH” – 48.56%, 16321 votes.

These results of a preliminary parallel calculation were published by the 24th edition of Berdyansk. At the Baranov headquarters, other figures were appointed: Baranov – 51.56%, Svidlo – 48.44%. The official vote count continues. There was no exit poll in Berdyansk.

DNIEPER

Exit poll of the Dnipro mayor elections, carried out by the sociological center “Sotsis”:

  • Boris Filatov, incumbent mayor, Propozitsiya party – 78.75%.
  • Zagid Krasnov, Party of Social Power: 18.25%.

The study was carried out on November 22, 2020 in Dnipro at the exit of the polling stations. The study covered 60 polling stations throughout the city, located uniformly and proportionally, respectively, in the territories of the city’s districts. Exit poll of the Lviv mayoral elections conducted by Fama:

  • Andriy Sadovy, the current mayor of Lviv, Samopomich – 62.3%.
  • Oleg Sinyutka, former head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, “European Solidarity” – 37.7%.

The exit poll was carried out by the Fama research agency, commissioned by Zaxid.net in 40 polling stations, about 4 thousand respondents were interviewed, the expected maximum theoretical sampling error is 1.5%.

NIKOLAEV

Nikolaev Mayor Election Exit Poll, Announced Live on NikVesti:

  • Alexander Senkevich, the current mayor of Nikolaev – 61.6%.
  • Vladislav Chaika, “OPZZh” – 38.4%.

NIKOPOL, DNEPROPETROVSK REGION

The results of the parallel counting of votes in the elections of the mayor of Nikopol on November 22:

  • Alexander Sayuk, “For the future” – 55%.
  • Ruslan Oleinik, “Servant of the people” – 41%.

These results of a preliminary parallel calculation were published by Alexander Sayuk on his Facebook page. The official vote count continues. There was no exit poll in Nikopol.

POLTAVA

The results of the parallel vote counting in the Poltava mayor elections on November 22:

  • Alexander Mamay, former mayor, “For the future” – 54%.
  • Sergey Ivaschenko, “Servant of the people” – 46%.

These are the results of a parallel count from 100% of the parcels that were delivered at the Mamai headquarters to the publication “Poltava Region” The gap between the candidates is about 3300 votes. The vote count continues. Sergei Ivashchenko’s headquarters said they require a recount of votes from all polling stations in the Podolsk district of Poltava. There were no exit polls in Poltava.

SOFT

Exit poll of the elections of the mayor of Rivne, held by the sociological center “Sotsis”:

  • Victor Shakirzyan, businessman, Rovno Together party – 50.94%.
  • Alexander Tretyak, European Solidarity – 46.03%.

The study was conducted on November 22 in Rivne at the exit of the polling stations. The study covered 30 polling stations throughout the city, located in a uniform and proportional manner, according to the territory of the city. Final results from 7:30 p.m. Questioned – 1914 voters. Response rate is 69.32%. Interview rejections – 847.

Meanwhile, a member of the territorial electoral commission, Vladimir Kudrin, reports on completely different results. According to him, the TEC adopted protocols from 28 districts. Previously, Alexander Tretyak edged out rival Shakirzyan with a gap of 106 votes.

Tretiak also leads according to preliminary estimates released by EU member Svetlana Bogatyrchuk-Krivko. The politician said that his party colleague obtained 50.18% of the votes, while his rival obtained 47.76%.

DONETSK SLAVIANSK REGION

Exit poll of Slavyansk Mayor Elections, conducted by Research & Branding Group:

  • Vadim Lyakh, incumbent mayor of Slavyansk, “Opposition bloc”: 58.8%.
  • Pavel Pridvorov, “Opposition Platform – For Life” – 41.2%.

4,619 respondents participated in the survey at 54 polling stations.

УЖГОРОД

Bogdan Andreev will again be mayor of Uzhgorod (self nomination). This is evidenced by the results of a preliminary parallel vote count, writes mukachevo.net.

Viktor Schadey of “Servant of the People” got about 1,200 fewer votes than Andreev.

Turnout in the elections in Uzhgorod was 26.7% of voters, or 25,146 people out of 94,017.

There was no exit poll in Uzhgorod on November 22.

CHERKASSY

A week later, on November 29, the new mayor will be elected by Chernivtsi. And already next year, there were three more cities where some selected mayors died from the coronavirus: Boryspil from the Kiev region, Novgorod-Seversky from the Chernigov region and Konotop from the Sumy region.
