The election of the mayor of Dnipro is over. What you will definitely remember is the very low voter turnout. It even decreased compared to the first round of local elections.
According to the Central Election Commission, in general, the turnout in Ukraine in the elections of city chiefs in the second round was only 29.53%. This was reported by the Informant with reference to the CCA.
The turnout in the Dnieper was 23.93%, with a total of 176,106 voters. In Nikopol, 24.20%, or 23,040 voters, voted in the second round.
The information was received by the CCA according to the number of voters who received ballots at the polling stations at the end of the vote, at 8:00 p.m.
The CEC also pointed out that this information is not yet the final documented data, since they receive this information from the territorial electoral commissions by any means of communication, including by phone or email.
You can find out how the elections were held in the polling stations in our chronicle. The results of the first exit polls are here, and Boris Filatov’s reaction to them is here.
